Team Training & Workshops

Learn the methods. Run them yourselves.

Not every organization wants an outside engineer on every project. VCE trains your own team — through structured classroom instruction and hands-on workshops — to run these same methods internally.

What It Is

Not proprietary secrets — just methods nobody's taught you

Relationship scoring, space classification, Equipment Packing Density, and real flow mapping aren't things your engineering team is incapable of. They're methods most in-house teams have simply never been trained in. VCE teaches them directly: structured classroom sessions covering the reasoning and the scoring systems, followed by hands-on workshop exercises where your team applies each method to a real or sample project.

The goal isn't a one-time class. It's a team that can walk into the next expansion, renovation, or new facility project and run the same front-end planning VCE runs — without waiting on an outside engineer.

Typically used when

Your engineering or facilities team wants this capability in-house instead of bringing in an outside engineer for every project — or you want your team fluent in these methods before your next expansion.

What's Covered

Four core methods, taught in depth

Relationship Planning

Scoring proximity and separation needs across five tiers, so adjacency decisions are documented and defensible instead of guessed at.

Space Classification & EPD

Classifying space by function and measuring Equipment Packing Density to see how much square footage is actually value-creating.

Flow Mapping

Tracing how material, people, and equipment actually move through a facility — not the simplified version everyone assumes.

Block Layout Planning

Turning operational requirements into a defensible block layout before architectural design begins.
